This could get confusing. We’ve just picked up the press release for the Asus conference and there are three different tablet devices being launched here.

Eee Tablet sounds like an e-book reader.

The Eee Pad is coming in two flavors. 12 inch with a CULV CPU and Windows 7 Home Premium and 10 inch with Windows 7 embedded.

Where is the 5 to 7 inch Asus pad every site has been blogging about the last 6 months? Another oversized, cumbersome to hold and use big Pad. I do like Asus’s statement about how their 10 inch is “pocket freindly” at a slim 12.2mm. They failed to state that it’s too wide to fit into any normal sized pocket no matter how slim it is. These are Asus’a amazing I-Pad killer? What a waste and a soon to be a failure.
